I was born and raised in a small town in Ontario. In 2022, my husband and I decided to make the move to Alberta. Finding the big city of Calgary too busy and a bit intimidating, we fell in love with the small town feel of Cochrane. It just felt like home. Since moving here we've expanded our family by having a baby in 2023.

I fell in love with the dentistry field after doing a high school Co-op placement and decided that was going to be my future. I graduated from the Dental Assisting program from Durham College in 2010 and have been working in the field ever since. When I'm not at work you can usually find me spending time at home with my husband, young son, dog (Ellie), and cat (Minion).
